Steps to Store Flour Properly:

  1. Freeze Flour for Two Days:
    • As soon as you bring flour home, place the unopened bag in the freezer for 48 hours. This kills any potential weevils or eggs that might already be present.
  2. Transfer to an Airtight Container:
    • After freezing, transfer the flour from the paper bag to an airtight container (plastic containers with tight lids or large Ziploc bags work well). This keeps out both moisture and pests.
