Fried Rice Recipe !!

Introduction:

Fried rice is a traditional and adaptable dish originally from China that has become a global favourite. It’s an easy, tasty way of using up cooked rice fast, thus making it good for quick suppers or as part of any meal. With different seasonings and ingredients at one’s disposal, fried rice can be both fulfilling and used to incorporate several vegetables into your diet.

 

Ingredients:

2 cups of rice cooked (cold preferably best work day-old)

2 tablespoons vegetable oil or any type of oil you prefer

2 cloves garlic chopped finely

1 small onion diced

1 cup mixed vegetables such as peas, carrots, corn, bell peppers etc.,

2 large eggs well beaten

2-3 green onions chopped small

Soy sauce about 2-3 tbsps (to taste)

Oyster sauce which is optional about 1 tbsp.

Sesame oil which is optional approximately 1 tsp.

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Protein like cooked chicken, shrimp or tofu can also be used in place of the above mentioned ingredient (s).
